Continuing on the soul-feeding path:
I meant to post this last week. I both maxed out my contributions to a candidate for the first time in my life AND won the print I wanted. The event raised over $50,000. Thanks to all the artists for donating work, and a special thanks to Danielle, the friend who invited me, whose painting inspired a fierce bidding war. Then we went to dinner at Saul and had Baked Alaska for dessert. Now I'm ready to a day of voter registration.
